I-635 — officially the LBJ Freeway, named for President Lyndon B. Johnson — loops around the northern half of Dallas, connecting I-35E in Irving on the west side all the way around through Garland and Mesquite on the east, where it meets I-30. It's one of the heaviest-traveled corridors in DFW with 250,000+ vehicles per day on some stretches.
