About US-75 (Central Expressway)
US-75, locally known as Central Expressway or just "Central," is the main north-south freeway through east Dallas and the northern suburbs. It runs from downtown Dallas at the Woodall Rodgers interchange up to McKinney where it merges with US-380, and it carries roughly 200,000 vehicles per day in the busiest sections.
Cities We Cover Along US-75
Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Allen, McKinney.
Why Breakdowns Happen Here
Central has stop-and-go traffic from downtown all the way up to Plano during commutes, and the segment between LBJ (High Five) and Spring Valley is one of the most accident-prone stretches in Dallas. Common reasons we get called here:
- Engine overheating in summer congestion
- Rear-end collisions in the stop-and-go between LBJ and Forest Lane
- Tire blowouts in construction zones
- Dead batteries from extended idling in traffic
